Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Enrollment in a BSN program within 3 years of hire.
• Completion of a BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Clinical knowledge to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of patient care.
• Utilize nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching.
• Communicate pertinent information to health care team.
• Contribute to solutions when patient goals are variances.
