Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in MedSurg for PRN coverage. The RN role includes assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on compassionate, evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Experience preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Involves patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans meeting patient/family needs.
• Collaborates with the patient’s care partner to meet educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
