Job summary

Mercy Hospital Lincoln seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit on a PRN basis. The RN will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintain accountability, and coordinate with other departments while upholding Mercy's mission and service standards.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, MO RN license or Compact, and at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience; BLS required within 30 days; ACLS/PALS may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Missouri RN license or Compact license meeting Missouri requirements.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Medical-Surgical or related acute care settings.
• BLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS may be required based on department

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality; coordinate with care team.
• Support Mercy's mission and service standards in daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Education

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program

Required Licensure

• Current Missouri RN license or Compact RN license meeting Missouri Board of Nursing requirements

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Acute Care, Hospital Nursing, or a related clinical setting

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire
• Additional certifications may be required based on department assignment: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and squat throughout scheduled shifts
