Cibola General Hospital in Grants, NM is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit. You will provide comprehensive patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, administering medications, and documenting care accurately.

This role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid NM RN license, BLS, and ACLS within one year of hire; PALS/NRP preferred. Night shifts are available with pre-employment checks and vaccine requirements.

Description

We're seeking a Registered Nurse - Med/Surg to join our team of compassionate caregivers.

Our 25-bed critical access hospital allows our compassionate caregivers to provide excellent patient care in an environment that supports them in their professional growth and development with the latest technologies. Cibola General Hospital is one hour from Albuquerque and close to Santa Fe. Known for its mild year-round climate and outdoor activities, Grants NM offers low property taxes and inexpensive housing costs.

Cibola General Hospital provides services in general surgery, 24-hour Emergency care, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics, Pathology, Pediatric Dentistry, Podiatry, Primary Care and Radiology with X-ray, CT, MRI. We have three operating rooms including a room for scopes. Clinics, Lab services, Pharmacy, Cardiopulmonary, and Rehab, and skilled care beds are provided.

Requirements

Education/Licensure Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Valid NM Registered Nurse license
BLS required
Must obtain ACLS certification within one (1) year of hire
PALS and NRP preferred
Availability to work night shift

Conditions Of Employment

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check, reference checks and a post-offer drug screen.
Must be employment eligible as verified by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) and the Government Services Administration (GSA).
Tuberculin screening required annually
