Job summary

Alomere Health in Alexandria, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans to support optimal patient outcomes. The role supports the nursing department's mission and standards while fostering professional growth and staff education.

The position offers 8- and 12-hour rotating shifts, with weekend and holiday rotations. The RN will coordinate care, supervise related staff, and contribute to a patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing programs (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Active Minnesota RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Trauma Training within 1 year or sooner for ICU/Med/Surg.
• Stroke Training within 1 year for stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Conform with orders and nursing standards while complying with regulations.
• Monitor patient progress and safety; respond to changes in status.
• Provide routine nursing care with age-specific precautions.
• Coordinate with providers and healthcare team to plan and evaluate care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and prevention.
• Cross-train to other departments to meet hospital needs.
• Orient and train staff as charge nurse when assigned.
