Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as RN in Massachusetts.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Diploma, ASN or BSN degree; BSN encouraged to complete within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit across all care steps.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow policies established by BMC nursing organization.
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects.
