Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time on-site care. The role involves coordinating patient care, educating families, documenting health data, and participating in quality initiatives.

The schedule includes Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday, 7am–7pm, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), current RN license, and BLS; ACLS required, PALS preferred, CNOR optional.

Job Description

Work Schedule: Friday-Sunday or Saturday- Monday 7am-7pm

Sign on Bonus: $25,000 for eligible candidates

• Up To 20% differential of total base pay based on level advancement, aligned to education and certification progression to support career growth.
• Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
• Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment. Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
• Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed. Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers. Other duties as assigned.

$30.70 - $50.42
