AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead and mentor nursing staff, ensuring patient-centered care and staff development. You will implement evidence-based practices, manage budgets, and drive quality improvement initiatives within a collaborative, mission-driven health system.

The role emphasizes policy development, staff education, and interdepartmental coordination to enhance patient outcomes while maintaining ethical standards and organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Educates and mentors staff on clinical practice models and evidence-based practices.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient-focused care.
• Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing levels, and applies healthcare-finance principles.
• Leads performance- and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Implements evidence-based practice changes and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies.
• Uses critical thinking and technology to support decision-making, problem-solving, and system integration.
• Enhances patient care and outcomes through effective use of new systems and technologies.
• Provides strong leadership and mentorship while supporting high-quality clinical care and staff development.
• Maintains clear communication and effective planning for patient-care delivery.
• Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments.
