Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time Day-Weekend shift (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday 7am-7pm). A $25,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

The position includes a $30.70–$55.47 hourly pay range, benefits from day one, and opportunities for career development within a faith-based healing ministry. Responsibilities include planning and delivering patient-centered care, administering medications, documenting care, and participating in quality

Qualifications

• RN with Active Georgia license (or eligible)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred; CNOR preferred

Responsibilities

• Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic and culturally appropriate.
• Develops individualized care plans with patient and family, ensuring continuity and documentation.
• Delivers interventions safely and timely, documenting actions taken.
• Evaluates progress and revises plans as needed.
• Administers medications per order, ensuring safety and protocol adherence.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.
• Acts as a patient advocate and collects health data systematically.

Job Description:

* Up To 20% differential of total base pay based on level advancement, aligned to education and certification progression to support career growth.

• Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
• Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment. Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
• Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed. Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers. Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ Acute care nursing experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
