Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking an RN to join our acute care team. You will develop care plans, document progress, and collaborate with patients, families, and clinicians to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and formulate expected outcomes based on diagnoses and ensure they are attainable and culturally appropriate.
• Develop individualized plans of care with patient, family, and healthcare team, ensuring continuity and documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and protocol compliance.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans to ensure understanding and adherence.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
• Serve as a patient advocate, documenting patient data and respecting rights.

Sign on Bonus:

$25,000 for eligible candidates

Up To 20% differential of total base pay based on level advancement, aligned to education and certification progression to support career growth.

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment. Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
• Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed. Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers. Other duties as assigned.

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ Acute care nursing experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]

Pay Range: $30.70 - $55.47
