Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced acute setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and implement individualized plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families. This full-time role includes a day/weekend schedule and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in the United States.
• ASN required, BSN preferred.
• 1+ acute care nursing experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS/CNOR are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
• Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
• Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Sign on Bonus:

$25,000 for eligible candidates * Up To 20% differential of total base pay based on level advancement, aligned to education and certification progression to support career growth.

Pay Range:

$30.70 - $50.42
