Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN program with BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position.
• Current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON).
• One year nursing experience.
• MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift; promptly identify and report changes in status.
• Administer prescribed medications; monitor therapeutic response and document care.
• Provide timely responses to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
