Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med Surg/Ortho unit at St. Rita's Medical Center.

This full-time night shift runs 7pm to 7am, with opportunities for professional growth and teamwork in a diverse medical-surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred), at least one year of RN experience, current RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• One year of RN experience (required).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS (preferred on hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per Mercy Health policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
