Job summary

Mercy Health in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med-Surg unit at Lourdes Hospital to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. You will assess patients, lead care plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure a safe healing environment.

A BSN is preferred; one year of RN experience is required, with six months in acute care preferred. Current RN licensure is required; BLS is preferred, ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, monitor patient condition and charting.
• Evaluate and revise care plans to achieve expected outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per Mercy Health policies.
• Provide care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses.
• Develop and perform patient care plans to improve outcomes.
