Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking an RN to join our acute care team. Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases up to 20% through our Clinical Ladder based on experience, development, and advancement criteria.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications safely, educate patients and families, collaborate with the care team, document accurately, and participate in performance improvement to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1+ acute care hospital setting experience (Preferred)
• RN licensure and active state RN license
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and ancillary departments to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to code situations and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance care quality.
