Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an experienced Oncology RN to join our PRN pool. You will provide compassionate care to adults with cancer, perform assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, 1 year oncology/chemo experience preferred, BSN preferred, and BLS certification. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
• 1 year of RN Oncology or Chemo Therapy experience preferred
• BSN is preferred
• BLS (AHA Healthcare provider) required

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Oncology RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

What you will do in this role
