Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an RN for the Medical/Surgical and Observation Unit at South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights. You will work day/night rotation, 7:00pm-7:30am, providing compassionate nursing care in a busy, community-based teaching hospital environment.

You will interact with patients and families, document care, and participate in a residency core curriculum with opportunities for professional development and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• New graduate RN OR less than one year of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers with providing exceptional care to patients from initial introduction to discharge.
• Interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering healthcare education as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a residency core curriculum and a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preferences, and resources.
• Document in patients' medical records.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
