Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift in a fast-paced acute care unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care with a collaborative team to ensure safety and quality outcomes. An active RN license and BLS are required; ADN is required and BSN preferred.

1+ year acute care experience is encouraged. Sign-on bonus and relocation offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license with current state registration.
• BLS certification required.
• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ year acute care experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve outcomes.
