Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights is hiring an RN for Med Surg/Observation. The role supports high‑quality, patient‑centered care on a fast‑paced Medical/Surgical unit, with day/evening rotations and a 7:00am–7:30pm / 7:30pm–7:30am schedule.

You will provide direct nursing care, develop and update care plans, document patient conditions, administer medications, support discharge planning, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• One year of acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
