Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced RN for Med Surg Night shift in Middleburg Heights, OH. You will care for adult patients overnight on a high acuity unit and participate in on-call duties as needed.

Requirements include at least 3 years Med Surg and 1 year travel experience, plus BLS and an OH RN license. This in-office role offers a steady night schedule 7P-7:30A and on-call per unit needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Med Surg experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience.
• High acuity unit, mentor/charge experience required.
• Unencumbered OH RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate RN med-surg care to adult patients overnight.
• Accurately monitor and document patient status and vital signs nightly.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with safety checks.
• Identify and expedite clinical concerns promptly to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in electronic health records.
• Demonstrate adherence to infection control and safety protocols during night shifts.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure timely care plans.
• Participate in daily huddles and shift handoffs with emphasis on metrics and outcomes.
• Utilize standardized care plans and pipelines to forecast patient needs and resources.
• Maintain a high level of accountability for personal performance and results.
• Support professional development by pursuing learning opportunities and certifications.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education for improved outcomes.
