Delta Health in Delta, CO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. You will provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment, guided by the Nurse Practice Act and interdisciplinary teamwork.

The role supports discharge planning and patient education, collaborates with physicians and families, and requires BLS; ACLS/PALS as described. New grads welcome; specialty certs encouraged.

Formación

• 1 year of nursing experience preferred (new graduates welcome).
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS & PALS required upon hire or within 6 months.
• New grads: ACLS within 1 year, PALS within 18 months.
• Specialty certification preferred.

Description

Delta Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. Under the direction of the Inpatient Director, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals from newborn to geriatric while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and the Nurse Practice Act
• Prioritize and deliver care based on patient needs and diagnoses
• Safely administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
• Support discharge planning and patient/family education
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams
• Participate in shift handoff and unit communication

What You'll Need

• 1 year of nursing experience preferred (new graduates welcome)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients (up to 80 lbs unassisted; more with help)
• Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment and document care
• Ability to respond quickly in high-stress situations
