Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Lakeway, TX seeks an RN for full-time night shift (7pm-7am) in a fast-paced, multi- unit General Medical-Surgical environment. Responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and education, while maintaining safety and high-quality outcomes. We value growth, teamwork, and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Nursing specialty should be in the listed unit areas.
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans with appropriate delegation.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members on health topics.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and adjust care plans.
• Ensure safety and quality in patient care through documentation and follow-up.
• Support growth and learning opportunities for the team.

Facility: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lakeway, TX

Department: General Medical Surgical Unit, Cardiac, Pulmonology, GI, Urology, General Surgery, some Post Op, Stroke, Dementia, Infectious Disease

Status: Full Time, 36 hrs. per week

Shift: Night Shift, (7pm-7am- self-scheduling with rotating weekends)

40 Beds

Patient Ratio: 5:1

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
