Job summary

You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and optimal outcomes in Urbana, Illinois.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, wound care, tracheostomy, and other hands-on procedures.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications following the Five Rights and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document nursing care accurately and maintain patient safety through adherence to safety protocols.
• Delegate tasks to healthcare team members and ensure their completion.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, answer call lights, and evaluate patient condition using critical thinking.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
