Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis is seeking an RN for Med Surg General Surgery 3W. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with other departments, and protect patient rights and confidentiality. This full-time night shift offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities for growth.

Graduate nurses and experienced RNs are welcomed; MO license or compact licensure is required, with BLS certification either in place or within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in Missouri or compact license.
• BLS certification required (or within 30 days of hire).
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
