Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Float Pool. This is a full-time role with day or night shifts across multiple float units.

Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, perform assessments, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team; 0–2 years acute care experience; RN license and BCLS required, ACLS preferred. Join a team focused on safety, quality care and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with nursing policies and the nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within the scope of competency and skill level.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Promotes patient safety and maintains infection control standards.
