Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across multiple unit types. The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold Alabama RN licensure.
• 0-2 years of experience in clinical nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Documents assessments, plans, and education in medical records.
• Administers medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Participates in life-saving interventions and code team activities.
• Provides patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Adheres to infection control and safety standards.
