Job summary
AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for Full Time Night shifts to support patient flow, safety, and high-quality care. You will collaborate with physicians, peers and other disciplines, perform comprehensive assessments, initiate care plans and ensure smooth handoffs using established hospital processes.
Requirements include RN license, BLS and NIHSS certification, and 1+ year of acute care experience. EPIC charting is preferred.
Qualifications
- BLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- EPIC charting experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates and demonstrates teamwork in managing patient flow and admissions.
- Performs initial patient assessments within expected timeframes and identifies discharge planning needs.
- Maintains safe practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensures accurate handoffs and documentation between caregivers.
- Participates in hourly rounding using the AIDET method.
- Demonstrates Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care.
