Job summary

Syracuse Area Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift role in Syracuse, NE. The RN provides comprehensive patient care under the supervision of the Director of Acute & Emergency Services, coordinating with a healthcare team to uphold the Patient Bill of Rights and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include a Nebraska nursing license, BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year. Benefits eligible with regular scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed to practice professional nursing in Nebraska
• One year experience in acute and/or emergency room setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
• Experience in providing care to a general population preferred
• ACLS & PALS required or will obtain within 6 months of employment
• Trauma Nurse Core Class (TNCC) certification within 1 year of employment

Part-time 12-hour shift position, working 1-2 shifts per week (7:00pm-7:00am) Position eligible for applicable night shift differentials!

The Registered Nurse practices under the supervision of the Director of Acute & Emergency Services. This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care according to SAH policies and procedures. Supports and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights. Provides, prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic needs of patients.

Employees in this position may qualify for benefits when regularly scheduled and consistently working 24 or more hours per week, subject to the terms of the organization's benefit plans and eligibility guidelines.

Qualifications
