Job summary

Syracuse Area Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift role in Syracuse, NE. The RN provides comprehensive patient care under the supervision of the Director of Acute & Emergency Services, coordinating with a healthcare team to uphold the Patient Bill of Rights and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include a Nebraska nursing license, BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year. Benefits eligible with regular scheduling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Licensed to practice professional nursing in Nebraska
One year experience in acute and/or emergency room setting preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
Experience in providing care to a general population preferred
ACLS & PALS required or will obtain within 6 months of employment
Trauma Nurse Core Class (TNCC) certification within 1 year of employment

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and supervise patient care per SAH policies
Coordinate nursing care with other health care providers
Support and uphold the Patient Bill of Rights
Provide, prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care as needed
