Job summary

Syracuse Area Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) in Syracuse, NE. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the Director of Acute & Emergency Services and coordinate with other health care providers.

Preferred is a BSN, Nebraska RN licensure, and at least 1 year in acute or ER settings, with BLS; ACLS & PALS required or obtainable within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Nebraska.
• BLS certification required; ACLS & PALS required or to be obtained within 6 months.
• TNCC certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and supervise nursing care.
• Provide and coordinate care with other health care providers.
• Support the Patient Bill of Rights and ensure holistic patient care.
• Shift: 7:00pm–7:00am; part-time, 1–2 shifts per week.
