Job summary

Adventist Health Hanford is seeking an RN to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in the Med/Surg Acute 4 unit, following the nursing process and established standards. The role supervises nursing staff and coordinates with other disciplines to maintain a safe, healing environment.

12-hour day shifts on a full-time schedule in a compassionate community setting. Required include RN licensure in the state, CPR/BLS certification; BSN preferred and acute care experience

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice required
• CPR/BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, analyzes assessment data, develops a care plan, implements it, coordinates care, and evaluates outcomes.
• Collaborates with patient, family and healthcare team to provide safe, humane care and to educate patients and families.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
