Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an RN for Med/Surg in Hanford, CA. This contract, in-office position requires EPIC and Cerner experience to support day shift staffing with 36 or 48 hours per week.

The nurse will deliver coordinated nursing care following established standards and will supervise nursing staff while collaborating with other disciplines to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS/ALS certification required.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develops and implements a plan of care and coordinates delivery.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and adjusts care as needed.
• Collaborates with the care team for safe, healing patient care.
• Provides learning opportunities for patients/family and team members.
• Delivers health information to patients and treatment team.
• Assists in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

RN - Med/Surg - Acute 1 AUTO OFFER

Talented Medical Solutions, Contract, In-Office | Hanford, CA, United States

Day Shift / 36 or 48 hours per week / Backfill for EPIC; must have experience in EPIC and Cerner.

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.

Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Department Specific License/Certifications: AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
