Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg 7E unit. The full-time position offers a 36-hour week with a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

A sign-on bonus is available: up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Missouri RN license (or compact license). BLS is required; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma or BSN.
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required either at hire or within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care and rights/confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and monitors care effectiveness.
