Mercy Springfield is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7B unit on a part-time night shift. The role involves patient care using the nursing process, dignity and confidentiality, and coordinating with other departments. A year-long Nurse Residency Program is offered to new grads and select experienced nurses to support growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure to practice.

Nurse Residency Available: Mercy Springfield offers a year-long Nurse Residency Program tailored to the specialty area in which each nurse is hired. All graduate nurses participate in the program, along with select experienced nurses based on their individual experience and professional development needs.

Position Details

Nurses work 7a-7p or 7p-7a including rotational weekends.

Full Time and Part Time available.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

The types of patients we serve are those with multi-system management needs such as infectious disease, wound management, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro-intestinal conditions, and post-surgical patients. We also coordinate management of patients needing surgical interventions, EGD, colonoscopy, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies.
