Job summary

MercyOne in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic & Trauma team. The role involves direct patient care across orthopedic, trauma, post-surgical, medical, telemetry, and neurologic units with interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication administration, and discharge coordination. Nurses will mentor support staff and contribute to a compassionate, outcome-focused care environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required for telemetry-capable units.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Sign-On Bonus

• 0-1 year of RN experience: $10,000
• 1-3 years of RN experience: $15,000
• 3+ years of RN experience: $20,000

As an RN, you'll work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care while helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
