Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg 5E in St. Louis, MO. The role features a full-time schedule, 36 hours per week, with dayshift from 7:00am to 7:00pm on 12-hour shifts.

The unit cares for adults with various medical conditions and emphasizes strong assessment skills and collaborative care. A Missouri RN license (or compact) and BLS are required; BSN is preferred. Prior hospital experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate degree, diploma, or BSN.
• BSN preferred; additional certifications welcome.
• Strong foundation in nursing process, assessment, and care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for Med Surg 5E patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and direct care givers.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with Mercy standards.
