Job summary

Lutheran Hospital of Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg 4B unit. This part-time 0.6 FTE position offers new pay rates for 2026, nights 7p-7a, with weekend premium.

The unit focuses on patients with kidney-related conditions and post-op cases from GI, Colorectal, Bariatric, and OB/GYN procedures. The RN provides patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring safety and quality outcomes while supporting families and

Qualifications

• 0-2 years clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN license in state or compact; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team to develop and implement care plans.
• Support post-operative and kidney-disease patient needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
