Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM is hiring a skilled RN for our Med Surg Unit. The Registered Nurse safely and independently administers prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions based on assessment and plan of care.

We welcome applications from both new graduates and experienced RNs. The Nurse Residency Program includes monthly seminars, peer mentoring, and rounds to support your transition into practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate Degree: Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred.
• Registered Nurse-NM License State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.

Appropriately organizes and prioritizes time based on patient condition and expected workload. Identifies changes in patients' status and acts accordingly.

Our unit features private rooms each with standard lift equipment and bedside computers that allow physicians and nurses instant access to medical records at bedside.
