Job summary

Atlas MedStaff LLC. is seeking a travel Med-Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Roseburg, Oregon. The unit is a 52-bed medical-surgical floor caring for pneumonia, CHF, COPD, renal disease, sepsis, stroke and other needs.

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, totaling 36 hours weekly, with collaboration from charge nurses, nursing assistants, respiratory therapy, and telemetry staff. Floating to the surgical floor or PCU may be required based on staffing and patient acuity.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oregon.
• Travel nurse experience is a plus but not required.
• Willing to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Medical-surgical unit experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify cardiac rhythms for medical-surgical patients.
• Administer heparin per protocol and antibiotics as prescribed.
• Troubleshoot CPAP/BiPAP equipment as needed.
• Floating to surgical floor or PCU may be required.

Join a welcoming, family-oriented team as a travel Med-Surg RN on a 13-week contract in Roseburg, Oregon. This assignment supports a 52-bed medical-surgical unit caring for patients with conditions including pneumonia, CHF, COPD, renal disease, sepsis, stroke, and overflow general surgical needs.

You will work three 12-hour night shifts each week, caring for a broad range of medical-surgical patients while collaborating with charge nurses, break nurses, nursing assistants, respiratory therapy, and telemetry staff. Responsibilities include verifying cardiac rhythms, managing heparin per protocol and antibiotics, and troubleshooting CPAP or occasional BiPAP equipment. Floating may be required to the surgical floor or PCU within your skill set. First-time travelers are welcome, and block scheduling may be considered.
