Job summary

NKC Health invites a Registered Nurse to join the 8 Pavilion - Medical-Surgical Unit in North Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered care for adults undergoing various surgical and medical therapies.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Director/charge nurse, you will provide holistic nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with nurses, PCTs/CNAs, pharmacy staff, therapists, dietitians and social workers to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license in Missouri (State of Missouri) is required.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• One year medical/surgical experience preferred.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to adult patients based on the nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
