Qualifications

Location: Medical Center - 600 Medical Center Drive, Newton, KS, 67114
Category: SURG UNIT

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Unit.

In this role, you will:

Provide professional nursing care to patients, including comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs.

Plan, coordinate, and deliver nursing care, incorporating teaching, counseling, and direct physical care.

Evaluate patient responses and progress toward outcomes to adjust care plans accordingly.

Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Offer reassurance and support to families, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in every interaction.

Contribute to a compassionate care environment through your dedication, expertise, and attention to detail.

Positions available:
Full time or part time days/nights

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

  • ADN/BSN degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing or diploma in nursing required

Licensure, registration and certification:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
  • Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
  • Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support recommended
