Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate and provide direct patient care across the nursing care continuum. You will educate patients and families, support transitions of care, and work within our Nursing Professional Practice Model to deliver high-quality care.

This part-time role requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS as applicable, flexible hours including nights, and strong teamwork and leadership to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• All RN must maintain current RN license and BLS/ACLS as applicable.
• Experience in a clinical setting and strong communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver direct patient care across the nursing continuum.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decisions.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement and care transitions.
• Provide leadership within the Nursing Professional Practice Model and mentor other staff.
