Saint Luke’s South is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Tier I Float Pool. The RN will float to various Medical Intermediate units at Saint Luke’s South, working full time nights (36 hours).

Focused on coordinating care, utilizing the nursing process, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will support patient outcomes and adherence to policies and procedures. Opportunities to work with a supportive leadership team are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 1 year of applicable experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

The Medical Intermediate Float Pool is looking for an RN who wants to gain experience in various units while working in a variety of medical intermediate units. Opportunity to work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team.

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
