Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced RN to join our Med Imaging/IR team. You will provide nursing care to patients undergoing imaging and interventional radiology procedures, assess and monitor patients, and assist with procedures.

The role requires an RN license, BLS certification, and a nursing degree; ACLS preferred. You will administer medications, monitor patients, ensure safety, and educate patients during recovery.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Interventional radiology or acute care nursing experience (Preferred)
• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)
• ACLS certification (Preferred or Required based on facility requirements)

Responsibilities

• Assesses and prepares patients before imaging and interventional procedures.
• Monitors vital signs and patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Administers medications, IV fluids, and contrast agents as ordered and within scope of practice.
• Assists physicians and the procedural team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and responds appropriately to complications or emergencies.
• Provides post-procedure care, patient education, and discharge instructions.
• Documents assessments, interventions, medications, and patient response in the medical record.
