Job summary

MediLodge of Portage is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to plan, coordinate, and provide comprehensive nursing care for residents. The position includes supervising clinical staff and collaborating with physicians to implement orders across all shifts at our Portage facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Valid RN license in the state employed.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and leads team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders.
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person's capabilities and qualifications.
• Supervises nursing staff including LPNs/LVNs/CNAs.
• Administers medications, starts IVs and performs treatments as required and documents as needed.
• Supervises orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Interacts with physicians for tests and procedures within state acts.
