Job summary

Diversicare in Batesville, MS is seeking a qualified MDS Coordinator to manage the RAI process and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team. You will ensure timely, accurate MDS assessments and coding in line with state and federal regulations.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state of employment and knowledge of MDS 3.0. Strong data entry and documentation skills are essential; full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of MDS experience preferred, but not required.
• Must hold current registered nursing license in the state of employment.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Computer skills such as Data Entry and Word processing required.
• Knowledge of MDS 3.0 and related regulations.
• Ability to plan, organize and implement programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the RAI process with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure accurate and timely MDS assessments per regulations.
• Maintain MDS schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate Care Plan conferences with patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal reporting requirements.
• Provide education related to the RAI process.
• Submit documentation to State databases as required.
