Job summary

Evergreen Woods is seeking a Full-time MDS Coordinator - Registered Nurse. You will develop, maintain, and implement MDS standards in line with federal, state, and local rules, ensuring proper documentation for reimbursement and compliance across the facility.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, perform audits, and oversee timely submissions of MDSs while supporting staff education and ongoing training in regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Two years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with MDS processes, coding, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement MDS standards per regulations.
• Coordinate with clinical staff for documentation and optimal reimbursement.
• Ensure timely certifications/recertifications and proper orders.
• Audit MDS documents for accuracy and completion dates.
• Participate in resident assessment process and education.
