Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista is recruiting a Nursing Manager for Surgical Services. This exempt, full-time role oversees OR nursing operations, staffing, and patient safety in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

You will lead daily workflows, ensure equipment and resources are available, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold standards of care. CA RN license and 5 years of clinical experience with OR leadership are required; CNOR preferred.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Five years of clinical experience with at least two years in an OR leadership role.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, team development, planning, and follow-through skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations of assigned nursing unit(s).
• Develop and manage staffing plans to ensure appropriate coverage and quality patient care.
• Ensure staff have access to the necessary equipment, supplies, and resources to perform their duties effectively.
• Promote and maintain compliance with established standards of nursing care and practice.
• Foster a culture centered on patient safety, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee care coordination and staff hand-offs between units.
