Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager for the Surgery Services division in Worcester, MA. The role leads PreOp and PACU / post-anesthesia care, partnering with the CNO to ensure safe, high-quality patient care across units.

You will oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, coordinate patient flow, and ensure staffing and resource efficiency for Same Day Surgery and PACU, with 24/7 accountability.

Qualifications

• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
• Minimum Education: Academic degree in nursing.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's or master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization.
• Assesses, plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing practice on a unit level.
• Maintains 24/7 responsibility for Same Day Surgery and PACU and ensures high quality, safe patient care.
• Supports CNO to ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
