Grand Strand Medical Center – HCA is seeking an RN Nurse Manager Med Surg to oversee daily operations of our Med Surg unit, ensuring patient-centered care and adherence to standards. The role requires active RN licensure, leadership experience, and strong clinical oversight.

The successful candidate will manage staffing, coordinate care, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to sustain high-quality service across a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• 3+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• 1+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and/or active compact license.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The RN Nurse Manager Med Surg ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• RN Diploma required; BSN preferred
• 3+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required; 1+ years of leadership/supervisory experience required
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation required
• BLS and ACLS required
